Life is a series of marvelous adventures! Some of my best adventures have been exploring new places, catching up with old friends and making new ones around the world! While I love to travel and feel energized in unfamiliar environments, I love the sweetness and comfort of coming home. I live in the small town of Southold, located on the beautiful North Fork of Long Island, where my husband (and Superman) and I have planted our roots and raised our family. My daughters Shelby and Meg share my curly hair, eagerness to explore and are taking the world by storm with their amazing energy and kind hearts. Shelby is in Japan as a recent graduate of UC Berkeley and newly commissioned Officer in the Navy and Meg will be attending Temple University in Philadelphia this fall on her continued mission to help others.
Photography is how I express myself. It is how I see the beauty in this world. I have been a wedding photographer for the past ten years and photographing life with a passion well before that. I am most comfortable when I am focused on creating images that show the joy, love, and beauty of the human connection that is so genuine.
My friends would describe me as a spunky and fun-loving kind of gal. I love to put on a colorful outfit with the right earrings, necklace and shoes, as it makes me feel like I can rule the world. I love to laugh and feel happiest when catching up with friends over a good latte or a yummy ice cream cone.
I often cry at weddings when I photograph the parent dances. Witnessing the deep love mothers and fathers have for their children warms my heart in so many ways. Watching them as they beam with pride reminds me of the beauty and power of love. There is nothing like a wedding, when a couple is surrounded by the people who love them most, to bring out the very best in everyone.
When I’m not working, I enjoy spending my time getting my hands dirty in the garden, going out on the boat with my hubby and most importantly, making our house into a home.
I am a proud member of East End Wedding Guide, PPA, and Fearless Photographers
